Pirelli keen for 'clearer procedure' to avoid tyre misunderstandings

Pirelli will meet with the FIA over the Singapore Grand Prix weekend to help define a clearer procedure for tyre usage to prevent future misunderstandings. This meeting comes in the wake of Mercedes' controversial victory in Italy eight days ago when drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were found to be running tyres under the minimum required starting pressure. Both drivers were cleared without sanction by the FIA stewards after the race, but the saga did highlight the lack of clarity in the tyre directives and regulations.
