Lotus: Renault return would be 'fantastic'

– Lotus Deputy Team Principal Federico Gastaldi says that Renault taking over the Enstone-based squad would be a "fantastic" development, as the manufacturer edges closer to a decision over its Formula 1 future.Renault has been weighing up its options in the sport and taking over Lotus to return as a full works team has been strongly mooted, although no decision has yet been taken.Renault owned the Enstone outfit between 2002 and 2009, claiming back-to-back world titles with Fernando Alonso in 2005 and 2006, but scaled back its involvement following the 'Crash-gate' scandal.Renault currently acts as a power unit supplier to Red Bull and Toro Rosso but that situation is in...
