Williams Engineering confirm battery power increase for Season 2

Williams Engineering have confirmed that Formula E will run at a higher level of power during the races for the second season of the all-electric Championship. Williams Advanced Engineering are the sole suppliers of the batteries for Formula E, and ran during Season 1 at 150kw for the races. There was just one failure of a battery over the season. For Season 2, the technology has become a little bit more refined as the teams become more comfortable with it. As a result, the batteries will be used at 170kw during the races for this year's racing. The 170kw power output was tested during the pre-season Donington Park tests.
