Mercedes and Manor talk engine deal

World champions Mercedes have been in talks with Manor over the past few weeks regarding engine usage. The team, based in Yorkshire, have been powered by Ferrari since they began back in 2010. They are currently using last year's engines, but if the deal goes through, they will be using the 2016 Mercedes engines. Mercedes offers engine power to other teams; such as Force India, Williams and Lotus. There were talks between Mercedes and Red Bull, but as the Italian Grand Prix weekend came to a close, it seemed as if the deal was dropped and Red Bull are now in talks with Ferrari. Despite the current regulations of the FIA, engine manufacturers can only supply power to 3 teams each...
