Pirelli reveals tyre compounds for the next 3 races
Formula 1 tyre suppliers Pirelli have revealed the compounds that the teams will use for the next 3 races. For Singapore the two softest compounds (Supersoft and Soft) will be used, the same compounds as last year. In Japan the teams have the two hardest compounds (Medium and Hard), which was also the case for last year. For Russia the drivers will be back with the Supersoft and Soft compounds, the only race to differ from last year after complaints made that the tyres were too durable and it cost the race some excitement. The Singapore Grand Prix is on the 20th September, Japan is a week later on the 27th and finally Russia falls on the 11th of October.
