Ricciardo confident Red Bull is back at 2014 level

Daniel Ricciardo feels Red Bull is now able to show the same competitiveness it enjoyed during the 2014 Formula 1 season, even if he admits it is unlikely Renault will supply it with the engine it needs to make the most of the chassis updates. His result in the Italian Grand Prix notwithstanding as Red Bull took strategic grid penalties in an effort to better prepare for more favourable upcoming events, Ricciardo showed an upturn in performance at Silverstone, Hungaroring and Spa-Francorchamps, if not reliability.
