Pirelli announces tyre choices up to Russia

Formula 1's tyre supplier Pirelli has announced its compound choices for the three upcoming grands prix. The Italian manufacturer will take the supersoft and soft compounds to the Singapore Grand Prix, in a repeat of what has been the norm in the Marina Bay race. Pirelli will take the medium and the hard tyres to the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, also repeating last year's choice. For the Russian Grand Prix, Pirelli has opted for the the supersofts and the softs. Last year, teams were supplied with the softs and the mediums for the Sochi event.
