Italian Grand Prix – Here are all the penalties that were handed out during the Italian GP weekend at Monza._ Italian Grand Prix Penalties: Fernando Alonso – McLaren-Honda. FP1. Alonso used a 9th Internal Combustion Engine, exceeding the 5 permitted for McLaren for the season. Breach of Article 28.4 (a) of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations. 10 place grid drop was handed down. Jenson Button – McLaren-Honda. FP1.
