Lewis Hamilton: “A perfect weekend for me”

Lewis Hamilton left the Autodromo Nazionale Monza with a fifty-three point lead in the Drivers’ Championship after his seventh victory of 2015 and the fortieth of his Formula 1 career on Sunday. The reigning world champion led from start-to-finish and took advantage of Mercedes AMG PETRONAS team-mate Nico Rosberg’s retirement to extend his championship advantage, and felt the weekend had been ‘perfect’ for the Briton. “This weekend has been just fantastic,” insisted Hamilton. “A perfect weekend for me – I can't remember one like it. “This race is so special for every driver.
