FIA confirms Italian Grand Prix starting grid

Red Bull/Getty Images The FIA has confirmed the starting grid for the Italian Grand Prix following a litany of penalties at Monza. Marcus Ericsson qualified in 10th place but was handed a three position drop for impeding Nico Hulkenberg, though will only slip to 12th as Carlos Sainz Jr. has also been penalised. Sainz Jr. is among six drivers penalised for various engine penalties, meaning that the back part of the grid has been shuffled around due to the length of sanctions.
