Verstappen hit with drive-through penalty

Max Verstappen will have to serve a drive-through in the Italian Grand Prix after being handed a penalty for an unsafe release in qualifying. The Dutchman lost his Toro Rosso's engine cover in the dying seconds of Q1 after his team failed to secure it properly in order for him to at least complete a lap. This was following an engine change that had him waiting in the garage for most of the session. As a result of the incident, the FIA investigated the circumstances and decided to penalise the driver.
