Ericsson praises ‘productive day' for Sauber

Italian Grand Prix – A trouble-free day for the Sauber team has put drivers Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr in a confident mood after knocking on the door of the top ten in both free practice sessions. In a Friday that saw the team complete a hefty 95 laps around the Monza circuit, the Sauber team made good use of being equipped with one of the more powerful power units on the grid. The Ferrari-powered team received power unit upgrades for the last race at Spa, and enjoyed setting strong times against their Honda and Renault-powered opposition, narrowly missing out on top-ten pace in both sessions. Marcus Ericsson said he believes the team is going 'in the right direction' so far...
