Alonso, Button set for new engine penalties

Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso are set for further grid penalties at the Italian Grand Prix, with Honda introducing new engines. The duo faced a total of a 105-place grid drop in Belgium as Honda capitalised on the introduction of an upgraded engine to bring in to play two fresh power units. And with the team braced for another tough weekend on the high-speed Monza track, ahead of what it believes will be a better hunting ground in Singapore, it has elected to change engines again. This has been done for strategic reasons, to increase the pool of engines at its disposal, rather than because of any technical fault with a current power unit.
