Ricciardo and Kvyat set for Grid Penalties at Monza
Red Bull has confirmed that both Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat will be receiving 10 place grid penalties for changing to a brand new engine at the Italian Grand Prix this weekend. The engines will be their sixth Renault engine each and the move is said to be tactical, as the Monza track isn’t usually one that suits the Red Bull with 75% being flat out. The Red Bull boys also join Carlos Sainz, who was also announced to be taking a grid penalty for a new engine yesterday. I wrote a rant yesterday about the amount of penalties seen so far this season HERE.
