Pirelli: Vettel tyre failure conclusions to be revealed at Monza

F1 tyre supplier Pirelli has completed its investigation of Sebastian Vettel's Belgian Grand Prix tyre blowout and will present its conclusions at Monza this weekend. The Ferrari driver's right-rear tyre failed on the penultimate lap at Spa-Francorchamps, while he was running in third place. Vettel was furious after the race and branded the incident 'unacceptable'. Pirelli has confirmed that findings from its investigation will be presented at the Italian Grand Prix. 'We have finalised the investigation into Sebastian Vettel’s tyre at Spa,' Pirelli's motorsport director Paul Hembery said.
