Stevens compromised by start contact
– Manor Marussia driver Will Stevens says that his chances of beating team-mate Roberto Merhi in the Belgian Grand Prix were compromised following contact at La Source.Stevens started the race from 15th position, two places ahead of Merhi, but was squeezed on the opening lap and lost time, dropping behind Merhi, from where he was ultimately unable to get back ahead of the Spaniard."My start was really good," said Stevens, who finished 16th. "I managed to get in front of [Felipe] Nasr in the first corner and then I came out and I was sandwiched in the middle of two cars, and with no room."I was hit and that compromised me quite a bit.
