Sebastian Vettel subjects tyre failure as 'unacceptable'
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has expressed his anger against Pirelli, as he subjects the tyre failure he had as ‘unacceptable'. The German was running in third, before his right-rear tyre exploded spectacularly whilst the German was at speeds excessive of 200 MPH. Vettel wasn't the only driver to face a tyre failure this weekend, fellow countryman Nico Rosberg also had a scary failure on Friday afternoon, which also was the right rear tyre. Vettel is not just frustrated that his 150th F1's race was ruined on the penultimate lap thanks to the failure, but is also worried about safety.
