Vettel fuming after 'unacceptable' tyre failure
Sebastian Vettel has heavily criticised Pirelli after suffering a right-rear tyre failure on the penultimate lap of the Belgian Grand Prix. Most of the field opted for Pirelli's recommended two-stop strategy, but Ferrari took a risk and kept Vettel out during the Virtual Safety Car (VSC), trying to stop just once. He was battling over the final podium position with Romain Grosjean when he suffered a puncture on the Kemmel Straight. The four-time world champion vented his fury in a post-race interview with BBC Sport. 'Well how many laps was I missing? Not many,' Vettel said.
