Vettel hits out after tyre failure
Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has hit out at Pirelli after he suffered a tyre failure during the penultimate lap of the Belgian Grand Prix. Vettel was running a one stop strategy and occupied third position when his tyre failed at Kemmel, dropping the German out of the points. "Well how many laps was I missing? Not many," Vettel explained to BBC Sport in the immediate aftermath of the race, when asked if a one stop strategy was too audacious. "Things like that are not allowed to happen, full stop. "If it happens 200 metres earlier [then] I'm not standing here now, I'm with 300 [km/h] stuck at Eau Rouge, so I don't know what else needs to happen....
