Hamilton takes victory in enthralling Belgian GP
Lewis Hamilton has secured victory after an enthralling Belgian Grand Prix, finishing ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg to secure yet another Mercedes one-two. Romain Grosjean managed to finish a surprise third for Lotus, after a high-speed tyre failure for Sebastian Vettel on the final lap. As the field took to the grid for the start of the race, glorious weather conditions bathed the Spa-Francorchamps circuit despite numerous forecasts for rain later in the race. With the field now forced to carry out their own preparations during the formation lap, there was naturally high tension as the field lined up.
