Raikkonen to start 16th after gearbox penalty
Kimi Raikkonen will start the Belgian Grand Prix from 16th position on the grid after being forced to take a penalty for a gearbox change overnight. The Finn ground to a halt at the start of Q2 during qualifying before setting a time, leaving the Ferrari driver 14th position on the grid. However, the resulting gearbox change means he will cop an effective five-place grid penalty, though this only equates to a drop to 16th as Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button start behind him having also taken penalties.
