Hamilton dominates to take pole as Ferrari struggle

Lewis Hamilton will start the Belgian Grand Prix from pole position after a dominant performance, which saw him almost half a second quicker than team-mate Nico Rosberg. The Mercedes driver secured his tenth pole in 11 races, ensuring he will be awarded the 'pole position' trophy at the end of the season, whilst also becoming the first driver to score six poles in a row in a single season since Mika Hakkinen in 1999. Rosberg starts second behind Hamilton, whilst the Mercedes pair were well clear of those behind, despite what looked like a closer chasing pack throughout practice.
