Grosjean qualifies P4, demoted to P9

Belgian Grand Prix – Despite qualifying in an excellent P4, Romain Grosjean will start the Spa race from P9 after picking up a penalty for a gearbox change. The Lotus driver was one of the stars of qualifying, ending the competitive Q3 session in P4. Only trailing the Mercedes drivers and Williams' Valtteri Bottas, Grosjean was 1.3 seconds off pole position but well clear of expected second row challengers Ferrari. However, Grosjean will be demoted down to P9 due to requiring a gearbox change. The French driver was forced to take a new gearbox during FP3, a change that sees his team break the rule that states a gearbox cannot be changed before six consecutive events have passed....
