Hamilton hails 'best two laps' to net pole
Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton expressed his satisfaction after setting two laps quick enough for pole position at the Belgian Grand Prix. Hamilton clocked a benchmark time of 1.47.449 before moving even further clear with a lap of 1.47.197, to finish the session almost half a second clear of Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. "[I'm] really happy today with the performance of the car so far this weekend, fantastic job, car’s been feeling great, this is a circuit where if you get the right balance its one of the most fun to drive," he said.
