Marcus Ericsson: “Engine power is the crucial factor”

Marcus Ericsson secured his first point since the Chinese Grand Prix in April last time out at the Hungaroring, and is now looking forward to this weekend’s post-summer break race at Spa-Francorchamps. The Sauber F1 Team driver feels the atmosphere at the Belgian circuit is ‘great’, and believes there are many reasons why Spa-Francorchamps is special, including a number of great corners and the near-constant threat from the weather. “I am really looking forward to driving at Spa-Francorchamps,” revealed Ericsson. “Eau Rouge, Blanchimont and Pouhon in particular. “This traditional grand prix weekend at this historic track is purely about racing, and the fans are really into...
