Button: Spa will be McLaren-Honda s big test

Jenson Button says the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix will provide McLaren with potentially the clearest indication yet of where its cars compare with its rivals on level terms. Fresh from the team's best results of the season in Hungary, which saw Fernando Alonso finish fifth and Jenson Button pick up points in ninth, the Englishman admits the Hungaroring's lower dependency on engine power goes some way to skewing its general form. As such, Button believes the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, with its mix of straights, fast bends and slow corners will provide a truer gauge of where the Honda-powered MP4-30 is realistically positioned in the F1 hierarchy, particularly once its much vaunted new...
