Alonso hails 'beautifully balanced' McLaren
McLaren Honda Fernando Alonso says that McLaren's MP4-30 is a 'beautifully balanced' chassis, despite the team sitting a lowly ninth in the championship at the halfway point of the season. McLaren has had a challenging time in 2015, as a reunion with Honda has been a work in progress, amid performance and reliability problems in the Japanese manufacturer's nascent power unit. Alonso survived a chaotic Hungarian Grand Prix to claim fifth position, earning McLaren's highest finish of 2015 and boosting its points tally to 17.
