Honda planning engine upgrades for Spa

Honda has revealed plans to debut an upgraded power unit when the Formula 1 season continues at the Belgian Grand Prix later this month. The Japanese manufacturer has struggled since returning to F1 as engine supplier to McLaren, but has confirmed it will spend seven engine development tokens to improve the power output of its unit. McLaren has been plagued with reliability issues and a lack of speed this season, which has seen the Woking squad languishing in the lower reaches of the constructor standings.
