Alonso Tempted by Other Categories for 2016
McLaren's Fernando Alonso has admitted that he is tempted by other racing categories for 2016, however, he is quick to assert his commitment to his current team despite their difficult season with the Honda power unit. Whilst supporting future young go karters on his birthday, the Spaniard told media, 'I love motorsport, all the categories. It is true that Formula One is not exactly the same or as exciting as it was in the past for me – to drive these cars two or three seconds faster than a GP2 car.'
