Bernie Ecclestone: 'F1 has become too clinical'

Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has spoken out about how he feels F1 has become too democratic and is resulting in detraction from the show. Speaking to Spanish TV Movistar in Hungary, Ecclestone weighed in with opinions on Lewis Hamilton, McLaren's reunion with Honda, and the current state of F1. As the main promoter of the sport in his role with FOM, Ecclestone has been vocal in the past about his feelings on the direction of the sport. He says that the sport has taken its eye off the ball in terms of what's important: 'It should be a driver's championship. When the lights go off, the drivers should drive the car. The funny thing is the drivers don't like it. They want to be in charge....
