Monza '90 per cent' sure of new contract
– Monza has a "90 per cent" chance of remaining on the Formula 1 calendar beyond 2016, according to Roberto Maroni, the President of the Lombardy Region.Monza's current contract expires at the end of next year, with pressure growing to secure an extension following interest from former San Marino Grand Prix venue Imola.But Maroni says Monza has taken a major step forward this week, after authorities agreed to clear tax fees, which will be used to agree fresh terms with Bernie Ecclestone."90 per cent, the Grand Prix is saved," Maroni told the 'Morning Show' on Radio Monte Carlo."The good news is that finally, after many attempts, the senate has approved a...
