Penalty Points – Current Totals

Following a chaotic Hungarian Grand Prix, five drivers picked up penalty points on their licences. The running total for each driver has been updated. Penalty points are handed out by the stewards to the drivers if they are guilty of any on-track misdemeanours. Twelve penalty points within a space of one year will incur a ban. Points acquired over twelve ago are removed from a drivers licence. Lotus have the drivers who have acquired the most penalty points so far, with Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado picking up 6 points each over the last twelve months.
