Lotus: There’s good scope for improvement

Lotus F1 Team opened their Hungarian Grand Prix weekend with Pastor and Romain as the thirteenth and fifteenth fastest drivers at the end of a hot day’s running at the Hungaroring. Pastor and Jolyon ran a limited run programme in the morning, with Jolyon’s car experiencing a telemetry-related issue which prevented Jolyon from setting a timed lap. Romain and Pastor drove in the afternoon, completing a total of 75 laps. Alan Permane, Trackside Operations Director – Technical programme notes Jolyon missed almost all of his FP1 running.
