Massa open to closed cockpits in Formula One

Felipe Massa has admitted he is receptive to the idea of enclosed cockpits provided they improve driver safety overall while not compromising what fundamentally defines Formula One. 'I’m not completely against it,' said Massa during the drivers press conference on Thursday when asked whether he was open to the idea of closed cockpits in the future. 'If it’s better for everybody and it doesn’t change the aspect of Formula One, maybe not closing the cockpit but doing something – they always did to improve the safety in that area – I'm not against it.'
