Carlos Sainz Jr: “It’s a very enjoyable layout to drive”

After a promising set of practice results and a good qualifying session at Silverstone, the British Grand Prix ultimately ended in a retirement for Carlos Sainz Jr and his Scuderia Toro Rosso team. The Spaniard will be looking to make amends this weekend when Formula 1 arrives at the Hungaroring for the Hungarian Grand Prix, with Sainz looking forward to the challenge of the circuit, a track he has had strong results on in the past, including two top-six finishes in his championship-winning Formula Renault 3.5 Series season in 2014. “I enjoy racing at the Hungaroring,” insists Sainz. “It’s a circuit that I know pretty well as I’ve raced there many times in the junior categories,...
