Valtteri Bottas: “It’s almost a Finnish Grand Prix”

After a promising start at the British Grand Prix, where the team ran first and second early in the race, neither Williams Martini Racing driver was able to finish on the podium at Silverstone, with Felipe Massa finishing fourth and Valtteri Bottas fifth. Heading to the very different arena of the Hungaroring for the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend, Bottas admits he enjoys seeing the support from his Finnish fans who have traditionally down the years travelled to the circuit to support the Finnish drivers such as Mika Hakkinen, Kimi Raikkonen and Heikki Kovalainen. “Budapest is a great city and hosts a great race,” insists Bottas. “There are a lot of Finnish fans living in Hungary,...
