GPDA vows to 'never relent' on safety push

The Grand Prix Drivers' Association [GPDA] has promised to 'never relent in improving safety' following the death of Jules Bianchi. Marussia driver Bianchi suffered a diffuse axonal injury when his car crashed into a recovery vehicle at the Japanese Grand Prix and his family confirmed on Saturday the he had succumbed to his injuries, nine months after the accident. The GPDA paid tribute to the 25-year-old and also reminded everyone of the dangers involved in motorsport. 'Formula 1 has lost a great talent, a great man and a great friend today,' a statement read.
