Jules Bianchi: 1989-2015

Jules Bianchi’s bright Formula 1 career was still in its infancy when it was cut short by the injuries he suffered in his terrible accident at last year’s Japanese Grand Prix. The Frenchman, in just his second season of grand prix racing with Marussia, had already shown signs that he was a star of the future, with his outstanding drive to points in Monaco a career highlight. Bianchi, as with most of his contemporaries, started his career in karting, tasting early success in his native France and across Europe before claiming the French Formula Renault 2.0 crown in 2007.
