Report: Bottas signs 2016 Ferrari deal

Valtteri Bottas will replace Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari for the 2016 Formula 1 season, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport. It was reported on Friday that Ferrari has struck a deal with Williams to buy Bottas out of his contract, which expires at the end of 2016. He joined the Grove-based outfit in 2012 as its reserve driver, before being promoted to a race seat for the following season. Williams returned to the front in 2014, with Bottas scoring six podiums and finishing fourth in the drivers' standings.
