Pirelli wants more testing to spice up F1 2016

Pirelli has vowed to try to spice up next year's grands prix. In 2015, criticism of the F1 ‘show' has come from all quarters, but a big factor contributing to the excitement of the racing is undoubtedly the rubber on the road. The sport's sole supplier aims for two to three pitstops per driver per race, but Pirelli has actually been notably conservative in the new ‘power unit' era, with better durability meaning the ideal strategy has usually been one-stoppers. F1 chief Paul Hembery admitted to Sky: 'We are not where we need to be this year and it is true that the requirement is for two or three(-stop races).
