Hockenheim needs good 2016 turnout
– Hockenheim CEO Georg Seiler says that the circuit will need a strong attendance in 2016 if it is to secure the long-term future of the German Grand Prix.The 2015 German Grand Prix was originally scheduled to be held this weekend but the Nürburgring backed out of its deal, while Hockenheim was unable to agree terms, meaning that the race was dropped earlier this year.Hockenheim's race sharing deal with the Nürburgring means that it has the rights to host the German Grand Prix in 2016 and 2018, with the World Motor Sport Council last week confirming a date of July 31 for next year's race.Last year's German Grand Prix at Hockenheim was not well attended and Seiler says that fans...
