Boullier targeting Q3 by the end of the season

McLaren's racing director Eric Boullier has conceded that whilst the rate of improvement has not been as expected, he is hopeful of racing in the 'top six' by the end of the season. The multiple world championship winning team have struggle since their renewed partnership with Honda, managing only two points-scoring finishes so far this season, leaving them ninth in the constructor's championship. In an interview on the official Formula One website, Boullier admitted that after falling short of the original target of achieving Q3 finishes by mid-season, he is targeting much better performances in the later stages of the season.
