Palmer targets 2016 Lotus seat

Lotus reserve driver Jolyon Palmer has set his sights on a race seat with the team next year, adding he is proving his worth in practice runs this season. On the back of winning the 2014 GP2 Series, the 24-year-old earned himself the test and reserve driver role at Lotus this campaign. And he has had plenty of time behind the wheel of the E23 as he has not only taken part in five Friday morning practice outings in place of Romain Grosjean, but he also clocked mileage during the in-season tests in Barcelona and Austria.
