Button will remain at McLaren
Despite speculation about his future and with McLaren having two young drivers waiting in the wings, Jenson Button will retain his seat for 2016. These views, expressed by McLaren team boss Ron Dennis, were made to Sky Sports F1 in a wide ranging interview. Button currently has a contract until the end of the 2016 season. Dennis was adamant that the Briton would take his seat in 2016. This despite the fact that the Woking based team has two impressive young drivers on their books, one of whom has already tasted life in the paddock. Kevin Magnussen raced for McLaren in 2014, scoring a podium in Australia, while Stoffel Vandoorne is currently setting the GP2 series alight. ...
