Hamilton hails strategic call for win

Mercedes AMG Petronas World Champion Lewis Hamilton expressed his delight with his strategy call which led to victory at the British Grand Prix. Hamilton had taken the lead during the pit stop phase before intermittent rain struck Silverstone. Hamilton was being reeled in by Nico Rosberg but pitted just as the rain intensified, enabling him to cruise to victory by over 10 seconds as his rivals had to pit a lap later. "Firstly just a very very special weekend for me, to see so many fans out this weekend I thought I'd seen it all last year but I love those guys" he said.
