Massa hails ‘fantastic' day for Williams

Felipe Massa says it was a 'fantastic' Saturday for Williams at the Silverstone circuit, after qualifying in third place for the British Grand Prix. The Brazilian easily made it through to the top 10 shoot-out and battled his team-mate Valtteri Bottas to be best of the rest on the grid. A late improvement on his final lap saw Massa jump ahead of Bottas and into third, and he was pleased to beat both Ferrari drivers. 'I think it was a fantastic day for us,' he said. 'It’s amazing to see how many people are here. It’s also our home grand prix for the team, so I’m sure it was great to see me and Valtteri third and fourth.
