Drivers warned about exceeding Silverstone track limits

Drivers have been warned to respect the track limits at the high-speed Copse Corner during the British Grand Prix weekend. The corner, which used to be Turn 1 before the track configuration was changed, features a large run-off area where an advantage can be gained by running over the kerbs. However it was agreed during the F1 drivers' briefing on Friday night that any driver who runs wide during qualifying should have their time deleted, whilst any repeat offenders during the race will be penalised.
