Silverstone FP2: Rosberg has upper hand as Hamilton struggles
Nico Rosberg clearly intends to gatecrash Lewis Hamilton's homecoming party at Silverstone as he gained the upper hand by dominating day one of the British Grand Prix weekend. Rosberg ended the second free practice session fastest of all and was almost a half second up on Mercedes teammate Hamilton who was struggling to find the sweet spot on home soil. He ended fourth on the timing sheets. Splitting the Silver Arrows pair were the Ferrari duo of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel, in second and third respectively, quite within striking range of the championship leaders. Order was restored in the Red Bull camp as Daniil Kvyat, in fifth, and Daniel Ricciardo, sixth, both got the better of...
