Mercedes handed reprimand for covering car

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes has been handed a reprimand for covering Nico Rosberg's car during the first practice session at the British Grand Prix. Rosberg stopped on track due to a hydraulic leak in the gearbox of his W06 Hybrid and when he returned to the paddock Mercedes mechanics covered his car. Covers are only permitted when a car has sustained damage and consequently stewards decided to reprimand the team.
