Honda planning big power boost after summer break

Honda believe they'll be able to provide McLaren with a competitive engine in the second half of the season when they introduce a major performance boost. The Japanese engine supplier has not only struggled with reliability, but power too, making it an almost impossible job for Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso to score points. The pair sit near the bottom of the drivers' championship with four and zero points respectively, but Honda hope that'll change. With seven development tokens to play with, Honda's motorsport boss Yasuhisa Arai, is confident they'll see a major step in performance after the summer break.
